Congratulations on joining The Casting Director! Now that you’re part of our platform, the first step is to build your profile. From the day after you sign up, you’ll have a full month to complete and perfect it. Upload high-resolution photos, videos, audio recordings, descriptions, presentations, diplomas, work experience, an attractive and up-to-date CV, and references.
In short, we want to know everything about you—your talents, your unique skills, and your achievements. Take your time in this first month to ensure your profile is fully polished and ready for producers to see.‍

Why is a high-quality profile so important?

Having a complete and professional profile is the key to landing contracts. A well-prepared profile makes you stand out from the competition and shows casting directors that you are serious about your career. It’s essential to present yourself in the best possible light.‍

What happens after the first month?

Once the first month is over, we’ll review your profile based on the information you’ve provided. This review isn’t just about your qualifications—it also takes into account the references you’ve shared. After evaluating your profile, we’ll place you in the category that best suits your skills and experience.
Once you’ve been categorized, we’ll start introducing you to our network of producers. Importantly, you only start paying for the service once your profile has been accepted by one of our Casting Directors. If we find your profile isn’t quite ready or isn’t suitable for certain categories, we’ll let you know and offer guidance on how to improve it. We believe in fairness—so you won’t be charged for a profile that isn’t ready to generate results.‍

How do I access opportunities once I’ve been cast?

For Talents

Through our app or desktop platform, you’ll see casting opportunities tailored to your profile. You’ll have access to detailed briefs with the producer’s name, the project, the fee, and the rights involved. If you’re interested, all you need to do is record your audition based on the producer’s guidelines, upload it, and then wait to see if you’re selected for the next step.

For Agencies/Producers

Producers can post their casting requirements, including specific briefs outlining what they need from talents. They’ll then review the auditions submitted by talents and select the best fit for their project.

For Advertising Agencies

Advertising agencies regularly post their offers and requirements on our platform as well. These opportunities are visible to all eligible talents within the system.

How will I get paid?

‍With shrinking budgets in the entertainment industry, it’s become harder for talents to receive fair compensation. That’s why The Casting Director ensures that you get paid directly by the producer, with no middlemen or extra fees. This means you keep 30-40% more of your earnings, making your work even more rewarding!‍
