Dag Elsermans, our CEO, brings over 30 years of experience in advertising and film. Having run one of Belgium’s first casting agencies, he saw firsthand how much time and effort talents poured into auditions - traveling, waiting, and sometimes never hearing back.
As the industry evolved with digitization and new tech, Dag had one goal: to simplify the casting game. With everyone carrying a camera in their pocket, why not take auditions online?
That’s how The Casting Director was born - saving time, cutting costs, and giving both talents and agencies the freedom to connect faster and easier.
